Issy is an emerging, self-taught artist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She creates multi-media paintings that capture the essence of seasonal produce and shared mealtimes with loved ones.

Since moving to Scotland, Issy draws inspiration from local marketplaces, the people she meets, and the meals she has experienced. A lot of Issy’s work is directly related to the recipes that she crafts in her own kitchen, which she then shares through physical recipe cards in the love menu.

Issy uses a blend of media and thick brush strokes to create her signature style. Bold colours capture the vibrancy of fresh produce and celebrate the vibrancy of her local community.

Issy’s upcoming series focuses on the produce in our pantries: nostalgic produce, graphics, and the feeling of home.
